2013 Edmonton Fringe Festival

32nd Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival | Aug 15 – 25, 2013.

The Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival is back in action, celebrating Bond’s 50 years on screen. Join us for danger, excitement, adventure and theatre cutting across churches, bars and boudoirs in Old Strathcona and beyond at From Fringe with Love, August 15 – 25, 2013

The Fringe is one of the oldest and largest theatre festivals in North America (maybe both!).  All over Old Strathcona, and in other parts of the city, there will be theatre productions running continuously for 11 days.  There are many free events, as well as food vendors and beer gardens in the area near the Strathcona Arts Barns (Gateway Boulevard and 83 Avenue).  If you want to attend many kinds of productions, there is a giant program for the event that you can purchase for $7 (with bus vouchers for the whole event included).

If you’re new to Edmonton and want to meet people and learn new skills, you should VOLUNTEER for the event! Applications are only accepted until Friday, August 9, but there are many possible positions that may suit you.

VOLUNTEERING*

Why volunteer?

The Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival relies on the skills and expertise of over 1,200 committed and energetic volunteers* to fulfill the expectations of the estimated 450,000 visitors to the annual Edmonton Fringe.
