Enjoy The Works Festival 2014

The Works.

If you look at my blog posts from June, 2013, you can see that I visited The Works Festival many times with students, because it’s a really interesting festival.  Artworks are displayed in many locations around downtown Edmonton, and there are musical performances, art vendors, and food trucks around Churchill Square for a week and a half.  There is no cost to visit most of the displays and activities.  On Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21, there will also be many activities and celebrations for National Aboriginal Day, always celebrated on the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, June 21.
