EDMONTON — The 2014 holiday season is upon us and there is no shortage of activities in the Capital Region to get you in the festive spirit. Here are 12 events you might enjoy.

Christmas Choir Concerts

‘Tis the season for Christmas carols!

WHEN: Nov. 22 – Dec. 20

WHERE: McDougall and other Edmonton churches, the Winspear Centre and the Legislature

COST: Free to $20 at local churches, $24 to $93 at the Winspear, and free at the Legislature

Festival of Trees

Check out over 100 decorated trees and seasonal displays (and maybe get some ideas for your own holiday decor). There are also free activities for the kids on Christmas Lane, including a family scavenger hunt on Nov. 27.
